Rock is an automatic ethanol fireplace with innovative BEV technology developed by Planika engineers. This free-standing fireplace is available in three cladding options: Daze, Laurent or KretaDekton. The Rock allows the fire to be arranged in the room without delay. FREESTANDING BEV FIREPLACE
Rapid Installation
The Rock fireplace is supplied in three pre-assembled components, comprising an automatic hearth with BEV technology behind glass screens and an aluminium structure and dedicated 12 mm thick cladding to clad the fireplace. The lower part of the Rock fireplace is a recess that houses a replaceable ethanol tank from which the fireplace draws its fuel. The Rock is ready for use as soon as it is connected to a power source. This automatic ethanol fireplace does not need to be installed by an installer with special qualifications. No additional permits are required for its use either.
Refuelling in three steps
Refuelling has never been so easy. Simply open the door of the lower compartment, remove the empty ethanol fuel cylinder and plug in a new one. The fireplace is extremely economical, as an external processor and fuel quantity sensors monitor the quantities consumed.
REMOTE CONTROL OF THE FIREPLACE
Control the fire with the included remote or mobile app on your smartphone. Take advantage of flame height regulation to enjoy the warm temperature quickly or a cozy ambiance.

Rock easily adapts to different interior styles. The cladding made by Cosentino is completely non-flammable, resistant to the weather and the damage that can occur to the surface. Choose from three material options – Laurent, Daze and Kreta from DEKTON.

CARBON NEUTRALITY
We always try to make sure that our products don’t leave an excessive carbon footprint on the environment. That’s why our bioethanol burners rely on the Net Zero Technology; plants from yearly seasonal crops are used in the production of the bioethanol, which later fuels the burner. The combustion process of these products are water vapour, heat, and an insignificant amount of CO2. The amount of carbon dioxide can be later compensated by the plants in the process of photosynthesis.
MODERN BEV TECHNOLOGY
The Rock automatic fireplace features patented BEV (Burning Ethaol Vapours) technology. This allows it to be used in rooms where it is not possible to install a chimney or in cities with CO2 restrictions. Furthermore, BEV technology allows the level of flame height to be controlled automatically using a remote control, an app on your phone or an integrated control panel.
100% THERMAL EFFICIENCY
Rock with BEV technology does not require a flue connection, so that 100% of the heat generated by the combustion process remains in the room. This means that, for example, a 40m2 room can be heated by up to 3-5’C in an hour!
REMOTE CONTROL OF THE FIREPLACE
Fireplaces with BEV technology are fully automatic. This gives you the possibility to control the height of the flame remotely and to switch the appliance on and off whenever you want.
